Laarni Lozada - PDA Season 2’s Grand Star Dreamer!

I really like their performances last Saturday! kakatuwa ung kanta ni Laarni na Boogey Wonderland! haha..

and yesterday, Awards Night na! Chris was only 6th placer and I didn’t expect na pang 6th lang cya.. Siguro dahil konti lang ang fans niya. Next is Van, nagulat din ako na pang 5th siya… I was expecting na maging 4th or 3rd siya. Hmm.. but it’s okay. And eto pa, I was expecting that Miguel Mendoza to be 4th placer pero it seems na si Liezel pala ang naging 4th. Konti lang ang difference nila ni Miguel, I think 6,000 something votes lang ang lamang ni Miguel kay Liezel… Sayang d pa nakaabot si Liezel sa Top 3. I think dahil “negra” siya and some people don’t like to vote her, despite na magaling siya and a 5-timer star scholar. But I may be wrong.

And Miguel was indeed the Top 3 scholar. He won P300,000 and Sony Bravia appliances. Many people, including me didn’t expect him to be 3rd placer but I guess marami talaga siyang fans or even ’silent voters’. Even my schoolmates na nakasalubong ko kanina sa school didn’t expect him as well. They expect Liezel to be on the top 3. Oh well..

And here’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for, only Bugoy and Laarni remains and the next person to be called would be the 2nd placer. And it was Bugoy! Nagulat nga si Laarni backstage and even though Bugoy didn’t become the Grand Star Dreamer, he said thank yous to all his supporters and he even said that simple people can dream big to achieve their goals.

Laarni is this season’s Grand Star Dreamer! Having 500,000+ votes.. She won this season’s title. She was really emotional when she won and while she sang her song, she was really crying a LOT. I guess she didn’t expect that she would become the Grand Star Dreamer, but is really crying because she won all over the others.

I was really happy for her na siya ang naging Grand Star Dreamer. Laarni deserves it because she is an all-around performer and even a belter. She is really a great singer. Despite her attitude, I think she is still a great person. She reminds me of myself as well kaya ko siya binoto, she cries because she’s just expressing herself and it’s hard to pretend not to cry, when you really wanted to.

I am hoping to look for her future TV guestings and if ever she would have an album, I may buy it!
